    • The Orchard - Swimming, beaches, golf, clay pigeon shooting, walking and riding
    The Orchard is situated in the famous Fuchsia Valley of Lee, surrounded by forestry on one side and rolling hills to the other enabling you to walk over the Torrs to Ilfracombe.

    We are a 3 bedroomed guest house, decorated to a very high standard, in victorian furnishings. Antique furniture through-out, although all modern conveniences, including hairdryers, T.V. radio. tea and coffee etc.

    Guests are very welcome to enjoy our beautiful garden, with extensive wild life (squirrels, badgers by night, and the occassional fox) and local birds. We have a stream which runs at the bottom of the garden, and sitting in our bar-b-cue area is extremely relaxing or why not use a sun-lounge?

    Our local beach and cove is a short flat walk past the forestry and is great for kids or adults!!! who like turning out the rock pools (Buckets and spades available) Never crowded it is perfect just for chilling out with the daily paper, or getting the perfect tan.

    Woolacombe, with its 3 mile stretch of golden sands is only a 10 minute drive away along side 3 other beaches, and is a fabulous horse-riding area. The Victorian town of Ilfracombe, offering Theatre, cinema, golf or just shopping is 7 miles from us, or for the more dedicated shopper the large town of Barnstaple is only 40 minutes drive, with its under cover Pannier market open every day.
