    • Somerset House - Bed & Breakfast - A 10 % discount is offered on stays of 7 nights or more.
    Somerset House is approximately 1 mile from the city centre, about 15 - 20 minutes walk. We also have several pub/restaurants close by as well as a chinese takeaway and a fish and chip shop. The A10, A14 and M11 are easily accessible as is the Science Park, the Westbrook centre and St.Johns Innovation Centre.

    The colleges are all within walking distance although there are regular bus services which run into the city centre every 20 minutes, daily.

    We offer Double or Twin rooms with En-suite facilities, Cable T.V, Tea and coffee making facilities and hair dryers and iron / ironing board are available on request.

    Somerset House offers comfortable accommodation at reasonable prices. We do a varied breakfast menu and herb/fruit tea on request. Tea/coffee making facilities in rooms, hair dryer/ironing facilities available. Parking for 3 cars and if on foot, regular bus services run from 7am - 8pm.

    If travelling from the north, stay on the A1(M) and exit onto the A14 Hintingdon. You should now see signs for Cambridge. Follow the A14 to Cambridge and exit onto the A1309 towards the Science park, you are now on Milton Road. Keep going straight ahead until you approach a roundabout. We are on the right before the roundabout.

    If travelling from the south, head towards Cambridge on the M11 until it joins with the A14 exiting onto the A14 heading for Newmarket. Exit the A14 onto the A1309 towards the Science Park, you are now on Milton Road. Keep going straight ahead until you approach a roundabout. We are on the right before the roundabout.
