    Built in 1910, Benthams is a spacious house set in 2 acres of land and surrounded by attractive gardens overlooking the ancient stannary (tin) town of Lostwithiel. Lostwithiel is the ideal centre for touring Cornwall using the A390 which runs through the whole town giving easy access to the whole of the county.
    The town, which was once the capital of Cornwall, has many interesting historical features including a 13th century bridge and castle and the Parish Church of St. Bartholomew's, the patron saint of tinners, built around 1190.

    Mrs Shirley Sanders offers very comfortable accommodation consisting of two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and one single room. Private bathroom facilities are available, as are tea and coffee making facilities on request.

    All rooms have washbasins with H & C and colour televisions.
