  • The Corner Town House - "YOUR" 4 STAR HOLIDAY HOME IN THE HIGHLANDS……
The Corner Town House is located in Brown Place in the Old Pulteneytown area of Wick in the North of Scotland. This is a nice quiet street and you can park your car safely at the front door.

The Lounge while not large comfortably seats five and is equipped with a Plasma TV, DVD/CD player, Sky Viewing - Lounge cabinet. The central heating makes life easy as you only have to switch on when needed, there is a glow fire so you should be nice and cozy even on a wet day.

The kitchen is fully equipped with new electrical and gas appliances. We have tried to ensure that everything you need for an easy holiday is supplied. The kitchen seats up to six and all the cutlery, china ware, linens etc are on hand for your use.
Free use of Broadband also included.

The Main Bedroom is a beautifully romantic room--just perfect for the weary parents to hide away… The shower room has been set out so to suit both able and lesser able visitors.

This single room does have a pull out bed to will sleep two if required.

Travel North for the most wonderful scenery. The journey will leave you in total awe of our beautiful country, and the welcome of the Scottish people is well known throughout the world. Be warned… many have just come for a short holiday but came back to stay!

Just relax, switch off and enjoy some quality time with your family. While your quality holiday home is located in a quiet street in the old Pulteneytown area of Wick, a historic old fishing port on the North East Coastline of Caithness be assured that you will not be lost for things to do, depending on how active or how wonderfully lazy you wish to be you can chose from so many activities, sights to see, places you just must visit. The kids are well covered too and can enjoy the freedom of being able to play outside, go to the play park, trampolines, tennis, crazy golf, swimming pool, etc and the adults can join in too if they insist. Otherwise how about a barbeque in your back garden, enjoy a glass of wine, stretch out in the deck chair and do nothing more than watch the changing patterns in the clouds - sheer bliss - just how can you miss out on that?

Fancy some retail therapy, well you are just a short walk from many small shops , or catch the bus from your door step and pop down to the "street". Wick boasts a small traffic restricted town square where there is often some entertainment or street stalls, also many restaurants so you could cheat and have a nice meal before your take a gentle stroll home via the harbour or the riverbank (which really should leave the kiddies ready for an early bedtime). You can wind down your evening by browsing through the varied information on the area and decide what you wish to do next day, or simply watch a video, play a tape or have a read of a good book - all provided for your convenience and enjoyment.

We are roughly 100 miles from Inverness the closest city, and only 15 miles from "John O' Groats", but Wick is actually easy to get to. There is a small airport, linked from most major cities via Edinburgh or Aberdeen. Come direct from London and hire a car from Inverness and enjoy a really scenic drive north, or take the bus. Many visitors enjoy the wonderful railway journey which takes you into areas of completely unspoiled countryside. You could even visit from the sea if you are into yachting as Wick has a lovely quiet harbour, albeit the coastline can be
    challenging...
