North Irish Lodge - Scuba Diving, horse Riding, Boat trips

The cottages date from 1850 and have been beautifully restored, retaining many original features. Tiled floors, Large open granite fire places, painted cottage kitchens units, belfast sinks, white washed walls, deep window sills and interesting farm implements adorn the walls. Fire logs and coal included in the price. The cottages are fitted with 21 inch colour televisions complete with video players. They are also equiiped with a large selection of up-to date videos. At christmas the cottages are tastefully decorated with garlands, cinnamon, walled christmas trees and fairy lights. The lodge is situated 5 minutes from 3 sandy beaches, 2 equestrian centres, local train station which operates a regular service to Belfast City Centre, 3 golf courses, 1 licenced restaurant, and the local supermarket. The lodge has a PADI Scuba Dive school on site offering a full range of PADI Courses up to and including Dive Master. Regular dive trips to over 40 shipwrecks, whale watching trips and bird watching trips operate throughout the year (weather permitting).
