    • Lochinvar Cottage -
    Just off the Tobermory harbour front, Lochinvar Cottage (named after the "MV Lochinvar" which was the ferry that served the Isle of Mull for nearly 30 years) is ideal for a couple.
    Built round a natural harbour, Tobermory ("Balamory" of the childrens TV series) is the largest town on the Isle of Mull & has a good selection of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars & hotels. Also in this one time Royal Burgh are the "An Tobar" Arts Centre, Mull Theatre,Tobermory Distillery & Mull Museum.
    Developed in 1788 by the British Fisheries Society, Tobermory is one of the earliest planned towns in Britain.Further expansion in the mid 19th century led to the harbour front that exists today.
    There is a frequent ferry service to Ardnamurchan, the most westerly point of the British mainland.
